A digital foot scanner is a computerized assessment system that captures information about the contact and pressure distribution of your feet.
It can help our physiotherapy team assess:
- Pressure distribution under the feet
- Weight distribution between the right and left foot
- Areas experiencing higher or lower pressure
- Foot loading during standing and walking, depending on the scanner system
- Changes in foot pressure before and after rehabilitation
- Whether additional footwear or insole assessment may be appropriate
